The Eighth Asian eBusiness Workshop (Asian eBiz 2008)
**CALL FOR PAPERS**
*Toward Servicitization: eBusiness and Service Science
*The Eighth Asian eBusiness Workshop (Asian eBiz 2008)
*August 28-30, 2008, Gyeongju, Korea
*Venue: Gyeongju TEMF Hotel
*Hosted by KAIST, Seoul, Korea

You are cordially invited to participate in the Asian eBiz Workshop again. As announced before, the workshop will be held in Gyeongju, a living historical city of Korea, hosted by KAIST.

Service industry now accounts for lion share of the labor force in East Asia as well as other countries. Many products companies have been transformed to services companies or some companies seem to be in the middle of this transition. Researchers and practitioners need to apply more scientific rigor to the practices of services and servicitization of business. This trend inspires many new business models and ideas as well as diverse technologies while we do not have any clear understandings what they are and how they affect business. Hence, the main theme of this workshop is chosen to address diverse aspects of service science and e-Business.

In order to invite more quality research works, a special issue of an academic journal will be arranged for the workshop. Authors can choose their paper will be considered for publication in the special issue. The papers should be written in English. The abstract of each paper must include the following information: title of the paper; name(s) and affiliation(s) of the author(s); abstract of the paper; postal address, phone and fax numbers, and email address of the corresponding author. The detailed information about the journal and submission guidelines will be notified later.
The proceedings of the workshop will contain all of your accepted submissions but those who want to consider the special issue should choose your choice of publication outlet when you submit the abstract.
Hope we see all of you at Gyeongju.
